Gen Z Cognitive Capacity vs. AI Take Over
Do we actually think that this mass screen time influx is something that has been orchestrated so that the future of AI taking over is easier to digest and widely accepted into society as opposed to mass riots etc as the tech and robots take over society as we know it? Jeff Bezos apparently said that the water sources to the AI needs should be prioritised over humans so we can clearly see where they at the top are prioritising resources and where they see the future.
I just think now that there must be a correlation, well there definitely is, but is is orchestrated causation? Obviously if the population is using their brains less they will put up less of a fight when tech starts to take over, plus they will not be intelligent enough to realise whats happening… even as it stands the current population and generations are not able to see how deeply they have been indoctrinated into the system they now willingly participate in.
Upholding patriarchy, men and women suffer but the old divide and conquer is back in full force because now that racism has been displaced from poll opposition position… the battle of the sexes has commenced. There was no true battle before because women did not have a fighting chance, now however we see the legislations, the governments, the religions continually pitting one against the other with the agenda to portray feminism as evil and destroying the nuclear family norms.. when it is clear that the repression of women in the first place was the only reason they were ever upheld so long.
The women choosing marriage and children now are still so deeply indoctrinated that they have no ideas that its not in fact their free will that made those choices, they were pre determined for those women by the governments and heads of state many moons ago. Same as religion like Ricky Gervais said isn't it magical that all the people seem to be born in the correct region for their Gods, like all the Pakistanis magically born with correct god Allah or all the Americans born the correct god and Jesus and all the Israelites etct etc. Obviously not, you do what you know and what you are taught and your parents did the same.
The more divided we are as people the easier we are to manipulate, keeping us busy fighting pointless wars with each others so we don't have time to look at the real shit that is happening right before our eyes.
Anyway, point being maybe this who dumb down the generations to make them less of a threat because obviously the population is absolutely huge now if we revolted there would be absolute anarchy so the easiest way would be to neutralise the threats by depleting their brain cells one tiktok at a time?
Also a note on the China tech warfare… they don't have the same bullshit on their versions of the app and the children's version are age limited and have totally educational content, are they retaliating to also neutralise the enemy/ threat? This is similar to the opium thing...
The historic event known as the Opium Trade and the subsequent Opium Wars of the 19th century. While opium wasn't a physical currency, the British treated it as an economic substitute for silver to solve a massive trade imbalance.
The Trade Imbalance: The Need for "Currency"
In the 18th and 19th centuries, Western nations—particularly Great Britain—developed a massive demand for Chinese luxury goods, specifically tea, silk, and porcelain. However, the Chinese Qing Dynasty operated under the strict "Canton System" and had absolutely no interest in buying Western manufactured goods.
The Chinese emperor famously declared that China possessed everything it needed. As a result, the Chinese government demanded that the British pay for tea exclusively in silver. This triggered a severe silver drain on the British Empire, threatening its economy.
The Solution: Smuggling Opium
To stop losing silver, the British East India Company began growing massive amounts of opium in its colony in Bengal, India.
- The Loophole: Opium was strictly illegal in China. To avoid a direct diplomatic crisis, the East India Company did not ship it directly. Instead, they sold the opium to independent "private" merchants in India, who smuggled it into coastal China.
- The Economic Flip: Chinese smugglers paid the British for this opium using silver. The British then used that exact same silver to legally buy Chinese tea.
The Resulting Mass Addiction
The plan worked because of skyrocketing addiction rates. Opium imports into China surged from roughly 4,500 chests in 1810 to over 40,000 chests by 1838.
The social consequences for China were devastating:
- Widespread Ruin: Millions of Chinese citizens became addicted, including laborers, military troops, and government officials.
- Economic Reversal: The financial drain flipped entirely. Silver began rapidly flowing out of China to pay for the drug, crippling the Chinese domestic economy.
When the Chinese government finally cracked down by seizing and destroying millions of pounds of British opium in 1839, Great Britain responded by launching the First Opium War. Britain won, forcing China to cede Hong Kong, open its ports to free trade, and eventually legalize the very drug that was destroying its population.
